Melanie Higgins is the owner and heart behind every party curated by Triangle Pop Up Parties. The mother of two amazing teenage daughters, Melanie’s favorite part of her girls' childhood was planning their Birthday parties. She’s planned the prerequisite "princess parties" and sleepovers galore, but her favorite events were ones that she got to put a little more imagination in to the planning. Parties with themes like Survivor, Backyardigans, My Little Pony, Hunger Games, Color Wars, Harry Potter, and a 5th Grade Graduation sleepover for 30 kids, complete with a shaving cream war, a ”snowball” fight, smores, outdoor movie, and a blow up obstacle course. 

Now that her girls have outgrown themed parties and would prefer a simple dinner with friends, Melanie decided to channel her creative energies into a business that allows her to create whimsical adventures for others.

In addition to planning magical parties for her girls, Melanie has experience planning monthly corporate conferences that included coordinating hotel rooms, banquet rooms, meals, and social mixers for hundreds of attendees. So even if the Teepee or Glamping scene isn’t for you, Melanie can put her event management skills to work for you. The sky's the limit on what she create and she's ready to collaborate with your for your event!
